Katya Pruett is the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Lear Corporation. She is responsible for driving the company’s strategic marketing, media relations, internal and external communications, and brand recognition worldwide.
Pruett joined Lear in 2018 as the Director of Product Marketing and Corporate Communications. Previously, she held positions of increasing responsibility in global public relations, communications and marketing at global automotive suppliers Martinrea International and BorgWarnerInc.
She holds a Bachelor of Education degree in English and German from Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University and a Master of Arts in Communication from Regent University, Virginia.
Pruett was named to the Oakland County Elite 40 Under 40 in 2017. She is currently a member of the Communication Executives Council at the Original Equipment Suppliers Association and previously served as chairperson of the Strategic Communication Council at the American Iron and Steel Institute in Washington, D.C.
