Chris Scott is Vice President of Non-Production Purchasing, EHS, Security and Facilities effective May 2024. He is responsible for driving significant efficiencies in buying and deploying capital through our non-production purchasing initiatives. Chris will also continue to oversee Global Environmental, Health and Safety, Security and Facilities.
Scott first joined Lear in 1992 in account and sales management. For the next 13 years, he held leadership positions within sales and marketing, platform management, quality, operations, and supplier performance. After working at Visteon for seven years in a variety of roles such as Senior Executive of Global Information Technology, Senior Executive of Global Purchasing, and Global Director, Supplier Performance, Scott rejoined Lear as the Vice President of Operational Excellence. He was promoted to Vice President, Global Foam Operations; Vice President, Global Surface Materials; and most recently, Vice President of Global Manufacturing Processes and Sustainability.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in materials logistics management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan.
