Amanda Pontes

Amanda Pontes serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Lear Corporation. Amanda leads Lear's global Legal function and oversees all legal matters, including public reporting requirements, corporate governance, Board of Directors topics, transactional support, ethics and compliance, and operational legal issues.

Since joining Lear in 2016, Amanda has held several senior leadership roles, including Global Divisional Counsel for both E-Systems and Seating, Chief Compliance Officer, and Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Governance.

Prior to her tenure at Lear, Amanda was a partner at Bodman PLC in Detroit, where she specialized in business law, mergers and acquisitions, and automotive industry matters.

Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State University Law School and earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and English Literature from the University of Michigan.
