Since I began working at Lear in 2005, I have had many good experiences, from launching the GMT-900 platform to the current T1XX platform. Every launch has been successful, both with the customer and for Lear. This can only be achieved with a great team, proper planning and execution, and enthusiasm at all levels of the organization.
What's the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
Become a lifelong learner. You can continue learning no matter what stage your career is in. When you practice continuous learning, you gain more skills and become more flexible and adaptable in your career path. Anytime you get feedback, recognize the value you are receiving and move on. Cultivate perseverance to reach your career goals. Always keep your promises and don’t forget to set SMART objectives to stay motivated throughout your career.
Where would you like your next vacation to be and why?
My next vacation will be a trip to Europe. My daughter decided to take a family vacation instead of having a “Quinceañera” party, which is a girl’s 15th birthday celebration common in Mexican and other Latin American cultures. She chose the countries and cities we will visit next summer. We are very excited because it will be a great opportunity for quality time with the family.
